This fabulous set has been well taken care of as there is very little paint wear on any of the pieces or any chips and cracks. I am thinking this set is made in the 1960’s. The figurines are very light weight as they are made of paper mache. The baby Jesus is not original to the set, he is ceramic and made by Duncan in 1994. The angel is not part of the original set either, it is paper mache and is marked Italy.
